DRIVING AND SELF PARKING AT THE HOTEL
There are multiple underground parking spots available for hotel guests right next to the front entrance, I have driven from Brisbane to the hotel, and find the guest parking is easily accessible and convenient. It will cost around AUD $20 for per day and is applicable for multiple exits via your room key card.
Just follow the “BLUE” line marked on the floor towards Level B2 – B5, where hotel guests can park anywhere from a red “H” on the floor.
I highly recommend parking at the hotel if you are planning to hire a rental vehicle. It is one of the cheapest options available as the public parking in the Gold Coast will cost a fortune.
FIRST IMPRESSIONS
Front Entrance
The hotel front entrance looks standard, with a revolving door and side door for access. You are often greeted by lovely and welcoming concierge staff members at the door.
GROUND FLOOR LOBBY
Filled with beautiful artworks, Chinese lanterns and marbled glazed decor, the ground floor lobby looks like a piece of a modern artwork. It is right next to the lobby cafe where you can relax your feet and have a nice delicious coffee while waiting to check into your room.
The building is shared between both hotel rooms and residences access, therefore sometimes it can overcrowd with people on the lobby floor.

KING DELUXE ROOM
The room is really spacious, it comes with a king bed, an en suite filled with a couple of massive cupboards (No problems with storing that extra luggage), a large shower which includes all the standard amenities (Bathrobes, toiletries, soaps and towels etc.) and finally the best part of the room has got to be THE BALCONY! (Just look at that view!)
BREAKFAST AT CATCH RESTAURANT
Breakfast at Catch Restaurant is situated at Level 1 of the Orchid Tower, there are multiple options available for the buffet to choose from ranging from hot foods - sausages, hashbrown, dim sims and noodles to cold foods such as fruits and cheese. Also, there is a Gluten-Free station – which includes bread and spreads. The breakfast was amazing, everything was delicious!
Opening Hours: Monday – Friday 6:30 am -10:30am , Saturday – Sunday 6:30am - 11:00am
Breakfast cost: AUD $39 per person and AUD $4 for barista-made coffee (Bronze and Silver members)
GYM AND POOL DECK
The gym and pool deck are accessible via your hotel key card on Level 2 of the orchid tower. There are a huge lap pool and spa available on there, however, it can get really crowded as it is shared with the hotel and residences guests’ members. Make sure you get there early if you wish to reserve a spot!
FINAL THOUGHTS
The staffs throughout the hotel are fantastic, from the reception, concierge and breakfast team. They are highly helpful and amazing, and a special shoutout to the Concierge staffs and manager for providing us with a complimentary wine upon check-in.
