The grand entrance with its clean lines and warm sandstone tones feels like a breath of fresh air after the chaos of Agra's streets, while the lush greenery and subtle lighting promise the kind of refined comfort I crave.

I loved the clean marble floors and the gentle beige tones throughout, it all feels modern but still cosy. The check-in area looks polished and organized, and the lobby itself has a quiet, luxurious feel, as if the hotel is designed for comfort and ease.

Walking into the King Deluxe Room with Pool View at DoubleTree by Hilton Agra felt instantly relaxing. The space is bright and well-sized, styled in warm neutral tones with soft lighting that gives the room a calm, upscale feel.
The king bed looks crisp and inviting, and the layout is thoughtfully designed with a dedicated work desk and a comfortable seating area, making it ideal for both rest and a short work session.
The highlight for me was the pool view, which adds a refreshing resort-like touch, especially during the day when natural light fills the room. The bathroom also leaves a strong impression, with clean modern finishes, a large mirror, and a sleek glass shower that ties everything together nicely.
BREAKFAST EXPERIENCES AT NORTH 27
North 27 Restaurant
Fresh Dosai station
Fresh pastries and fruits station
Authentic chai station
Breakfast spread
Little treat from the waitstaff!
Breakfast at North 27 Restaurant in DoubleTree by Hilton Agra was one of my favourite parts of the stay. The restaurant feels bright and lively in the morning, with a relaxed atmosphere that remains polished and well put together.
What impressed me most was the wide buffet spread, with a great mix of both Western and Indian breakfast options, so it suits every type of traveller. You can keep it simple with pastries, fresh fruit, juices and eggs, or go for a full Indian breakfast with plenty of flavour and variety.
The live stations were the highlight for me. The pancakes are made fresh to order, and the dosa station is a must, served hot and crisp, prepared right in front of you. They also make fresh masala chai, and it was genuinely amazing, warm, fragrant, and the perfect way to start the day.
The service felt thoughtful too, they even surprised us with a lovely platter of treats that said “We care for you”, which was such a sweet personal touch and made the experience feel even more special.
OUTDOOR POOL AREA

Indoor Gym Area
One of the first things I loved about DoubleTree by Hilton Agra was how easy it was to escape the busy energy of the city. The outdoor rooftop pool feels like a quiet little retreat above the streets of Agra. It is clean, spacious, and perfect for a slow afternoon swim or simply relaxing on a lounger with the sun on your face. The view around the pool also adds to the experience, giving you space to breathe and switch off for a while.
The indoor gym is just as impressive. It is well-maintained and has all the necessary equipment, including cardio machines, weights, and plenty of space for a proper workout. After a long day of exploring Agra, I found it really refreshing to come back and either take a swim or do a quick gym session. It is the kind of hotel facility that genuinely adds value to the stay, especially if you enjoy a balance of travel and wellness.
THE FOOD STORE
The Food Store Cafe Entrance
The Food Store interior
The Food Store Café felt like a hidden little corner of the hotel that many guests might miss. The first thing I noticed was how quiet and calm it was most of the time, which made it a lovely spot to take a break from the heat and noise outside. The café has a clean, modern look with elegant white walls, warm pendant lighting, and a polished display counter that gives the space a premium feel.
The cake selection is quite limited, so it is not the type of café where you will spend ages deciding what to order. However, the overall setting is genuinely beautiful and comfortable, especially if you want a relaxed coffee moment or a simple dessert. For me, it felt more like a stylish lounge space than a busy café, and I really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere.
PLUSH BAR
View of the bar
Pretty neat furnitures
Stunning waterfall feature
The Plush Bar at DoubleTree by Hilton Agra is easily one of the hotel’s most refined spaces. The interiors feel polished and sophisticated, with rich dark finishes, elegant feature lighting, and detailed patterned panels that add character without feeling too heavy. The seating is well laid out and comfortable, creating a relaxed setting that still feels premium.
These photos were taken during the day, so the bar felt quiet and understated, which made it easy to appreciate the design and ambience. However, it is known to become much busier in the evenings, and the space clearly suits that transition. It also has a pool table and live sports on TV, which adds a fun and social touch to the overall vibe. Overall, it brings a more upscale, refined element to the hotel’s dining and lounge experience.
COURTYARD AREA
Outdoor Courtyard views
The outdoor courtyard is a beautiful open space that gives the hotel a calm and elegant feel. Surrounded by soft beige architecture and clean modern lines, it feels private and peaceful, almost like a hidden area tucked away from the rest of the property. The open sky above and the natural light throughout the day make it a lovely spot to walk through or simply pause for a quiet moment.
It is also the kind of space that instantly makes you picture weddings and special events being hosted here. The layout is wide and open, with a central area that looks perfect for a ceremony setup, evening celebrations, or a stylish outdoor dinner.
FINAL THOUGHTS
Looking back on my stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Agra, I can confidently say it was a comfortable and well balanced hotel experience with a touch of luxury. From the moment I arrived, everything felt organised, calm, and welcoming. The grand entrance and airy lobby set the tone straight away, and throughout the stay, the hotel consistently delivered on comfort, cleanliness, and warm hospitality. It is the kind of place that feels like a peaceful escape from the busy streets of Agra, especially with the rooftop pool, gym, and well designed common spaces.
Customer Service: 8/10
The service at DoubleTree by Hilton Agra was a standout. The staff were attentive, polite, and always carried a positive attitude. From front desk to restaurant team, everyone made an effort to ensure the stay felt smooth and enjoyable. The hospitality was genuinely impressive and made the overall experience feel more premium and personal.
Rooms: 8/10
The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully laid out, with a beautiful pool view that adds a relaxing holiday feel. The bed was inviting, the space was clean, and the bathroom felt modern and well maintained. The only downside was that the walls felt slightly thin, especially at night. When outdoor wedding events were happening, the sound could carry through after midnight, and fireworks could be loud at times. Aside from that, the room was a great base for an Agra stay.
Food: 8/10
Breakfast at North 27 was excellent, especially if you enjoy Indian flavours. The buffet spread offered a good variety of both Western and Indian options, and the live stations were a highlight. The fresh dosa was easily my favourite, and the fresh masala chai was amazing and became part of my morning routine. I did not get the chance to try the other restaurants at the hotel, as I only had breakfast during my stay, but based on this experience, the food quality was strong.
Overall, DoubleTree by Hilton Agra is a solid option for travellers who want comfort, warm service, and a calm place to unwind after exploring the city.
